Launched by the Directorate-General for Infrastructure, Transport and the Sea (DGITM) and Cerema in 2011, with the support of a network of partners, "Port of the Future" is a unique event designed to bring together all the players in the port world. Its ambition is to reflect on the issues and challenges facing ports today and in the future. Each year, the event provides a forum for discussion and reflection on developments and issues in the port sector. The French Maritime Cluster, ArcelorMittal and SchneiderElectric are taking part in this 13th edition, which will focus in particular on innovation, which is essential to port development and to meeting the port and maritime challenges of today and tomorrow, such as the eco-energy and digital transition, and the preservation of biodiversity.
