The Coalition for the Energy of the Future for the transport & logistics becomes New Energies. A new name and visual identity that reflect the dynamism of this consortium of 18 key players in transport and logistics, determined to move forward together to accelerate the decarbonization of the sector.

Initiated at the end of 2019 at the “Assises de l'Économie de la Mer” and supported by French President Emmanuel Macron, the Coalition for the Energy of the Future aims to accelerate the development of energies and technologies of the future, to accompany new models of sustainable mobility, and thus reduce the impact of transport and logistics on climate change. The consortium now includes 18 of the world's leading players of multi sectors, all concerned and committed to a more sustainable transport & logistics chain: Airbus, Air liquide, Arcelor Mittal, AWS, Bureau Veritas, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Carrefour Group, Cluster Maritime Français, CMA CGM, Engie, Kuehne+Nagel Group, Michelin, PSA International, Rolls Royce, PSA International, Schneider Electric, TotalEnergies, Veolia, Wartsila. A new name, a new visual identity and a new website At its fourth CEO meeting on 7 July 2023, the Coalition unveiled its new name and visual identity: New Energies. While the ambition and desire to work together for a sustainable transport and logistics sector remain intact, this change marks a turning point in the history of the Coalition, as 2023 will undoubtedly be the year of acceleration. 2023 : the year of acceleration for the New Energies Coalition New Energies will be delivering the results of 2 major studies related to the life-cycle analysis of maritime biofuels and the best ways of producing e-fuels or synthetic fuels for aviation. The Coalition plans to launch 5 new projects and to strengthen its presence at major European and international events.
