New Energies Coalition and its members
Bureau Veritas, CMA CGM, and
Onet Group, together with over 30 European partners, have signed the
Declaration of Cooperation for Accelerating Nuclear for Maritime Applications.The agreement, formalized at the
World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE 2025) in Paris, represents an important step in fostering collaboration between the nuclear and maritime sectors. It aims to explore the potential of
Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and other advanced nuclear technologies to contribute to the
safe and sustainable decarbonization of shipping and port operations."This declaration marks an important milestone in aligning nuclear and maritime expertise to accelerate decarbonization,"said
